Unfortunately, due to the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic in March 2020, this concert was cancelled and the music never performed.

Join the choir of the Hitchin Thespians, under the baton of John Edwards, as they take you on a musical journey through some of the choral repertoire’s most beautiful and inspiring pieces. The audience will be treated to excerpts from the following: the classical perfection of Haydn’s Creation, the operatic drama of Puccini’s Messa di Gloria and perennial favourite the Cantique de Jean Racine by Faure. Interspersed with the choral items will be the opportunity to hear solos from works as varied as Vivaldi’s Gloria and the exquisite Simple Song from Leonard Bernstein’s Mass. An evening not to be missed!
