Two musical groups entertained at the Summer Fundraising Picnic in 2022:

3pm-3.30pm – We were delighted to welcome Audrey Jenkins back to Woodside. Audrey, for many years the principal accompanist for Hitchin Thespians, joined John Edwards to play a group of piano duets including several transcriptions of songs from stage musicals. 

4pm – Quintessentials (Sandra Page, Sue Osbourn, Ian Hamilton, Andy Johnson & John Edwards) devised a new programme on a topical theme which they called “SONGS TO REIGN OVER US”. This is best described as “A Right Royal Reflection” which took a whimsical look at significant events which have occurred during the Queen’s seventy years on the throne. We are thrilled that they agreed to repeat their Hitchin Festival programme just for us
